Based in Sonoma, California, WebSat Inc. was formed in 2008 to help supply the exploding demand for live video and audio of events direct to the Internet. WebSat, in partnership with TodoCast of San Juan Capistrano, provides the equipment and the technology for live video so that people can experience the excitement of watching events as they happen.

• Our Experience
WebSat is owned by two seasoned satellite executives, Peter Whyte and Pat Matthews, who together have over 40 years of experience in satellite equipment manufacture, distribution and the operation of satellite-based networks. For the first time this experience, used by the military, aviation and maritime industries, is being brought to the land-based commercial marketplace.

• Our Technology
The WebSat satellite system works like this. Any event at any location, be it a concert, polo match, vintage wine or antique car auction, is covered by a satellite-equipped vehicle with a self-deploying antenna on the roof. The vehicle, which is operated by one or more experienced WebSat technicians, is fully equipped, self-contained and pre-programmed to locate the satellite. The signal then goes from satellite to the TodoCast ground station and servers in San Juan Capistrano, where it is fed directly to a specified website so that viewers may log in and watch. The event can be open to public viewing or by invitation only or by pay-per-view. The complete path, from camera to satellite to server to website, is controlled by WebSat and TodoCast to ensure security and high video quality.

WebSat offers live, high quality audio/video of your event for far less than traditional video production. Because each live concert or event is unique we offer customized packages and pricing for our clients.

The WebSat live feed technology can work with any number of cameras as long as the feed is edited before transmission, and the feed can be delivered to any number of viewers.
